He is survived by: his father Edward Gerger; his great-aunt Sarah Ann Abram (Al); his in-laws, Emory and Dorothy Douglass; his wife Mary; his daughter Sarah Gerger; his siblings, Scott Gerger (Terrie), Marcia Traywick (Bill) and Dr. NanEllen "Joey" Rose (Ron); his stepmother Ingrid Gerger; his stepsiblings, Victoria Proos (Tim), Patrick Hays (Deborah) and David Hays; his uncle Jack Kischnick (Loretta); his close friends, Marty Johnson, Lanette Durbin and Susan Fisher; and also Mark. He is also survived by other friends, colleagues, students, and neighbors he loved.
