She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Foley and Margaret Foley (Weber); her husband Foster Sherwood; and her brother Francis Foley, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Diane Bourgeois (Doug Pearson), Michael Sherwood, Kathleen Sherwood (Sue Cathcart) and Susan Standish (Mark Fortier); her grandsons, Marc Sherwood (Nicolle), Kevin Bourgeois (Coty Dunten), Brian Bourgeois (Kristine) and Isaac Standish (Jaclyn Schlang); her great grandchildren, Molly Sherwood, Nathan Sherwood, Foster Standish and Winter Standish; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Foley and Emilie Wright (Leslie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams - Redmond Funeral Home (4100 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Cathedral (542 W Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49007).
