Marilyn Joyce Hubbard Obituary
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park South, 3941 S. Westnedge Ave., Kalamazoo. A visitation will be held at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo, one hour prior to the graveside service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice of Centrica Care Navigators, in/co the funeral home.
Age 87, passed away on Saturday morning, September 23, 2023. Marilyn was born in Kalamazoo on April 10, 1936, the daughter of Leopold "Paul" and Helen (Brewer) Dumonceaux. She was married to Bobby J. Hubbard who passed away in 1971. Marilyn loved crocheting and working on crafts. Nothing was more important to her than her family. Marilyn is survived by her children, David (Louise) Hubbard and Andrew (Rebecca) Hubbard; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Elaine (David Parks) Rupert; nieces and nephews; and many friends. Besides her husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Beatrice (Kenneth) Gates.
