She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harris and Mary Harris (Wright); and her siblings, W. E. Bill "Peewee" Harris and Nelda VerHage (Roger). She is survived by: her husband Douglas Hayden; her daughter Kathy Lentner (Robert); her grandchildren, Roberta Lentner (Anthony Servello), James Lentner (Skyler Hasling) and Danny Lentner; her great grandchildren, Isabella, Alexander and Rilynn; and her sister-in-law Sue Harris.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marilyn's name may be directed to the Michigan Diabetes Association.
