She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Steffler and Hazel Steffler (Marshall); her husband Frank Hammill; her daughters, Karen Whelan (Paul) of Coupeville Washington, Cheryl Vemich (Jim) of Clancy Montana, Denise Wolf (Rodger) of Saline Michigan and Cindy Barrow (Tom) of Vicksburg Michigan; her brothers, Bernard Steffler (Mary) and Bob Steffler (Jane); her sisters-in-law, Mary E. Steffler, Mary Hammill and Jane Kavanaugh; and her siblings, Helen Green and Bill Steffler. She was also cherished by her eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Margaret's name to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
