We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2025, at the age of 95, Margaret Alice Samuels (Kalamazoo, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Margaret Alice farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Margaret Alice is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hughes and Edith Hughes; her son Ken (Sharon); and her husband Clifford Samuels. She is survived by: her children, Dan (Donna), Jim (Wendy) and Marjie (Craig).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Martin of Tours Episcopal Church (2010 Nichols Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49004). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
She had requested no flowers and instead asked that people contribute to their charity of choice, the ACLU, or Covenant House.
