She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene F. Lynch, Sr. and Dorothy Mary Lynch (Moriaty); her husband David F. Sadler; and her stepson Richard Sadler. She is survived by: her close friends, Yang, Fah-Jah, Ling and Susan; her siblings, Gene Lynch (Judy) and Dorothy Earley (Stephen); her nieces, Erin Harnish and Stephanie Earley; her nephew Patrick Lynch; her great-nieces, McKenna and Danielle; her great-nephew Brandon; her cousins, David, Gail, Anita, Tommy, MaryAnn and Michael Lynch; and her stepchildren, Deborah Johnson (Merle), Judy Paolucci and Robert Sadler.

Thanks to the companionship and care of long-time friend and aide, AnnaMaria Richardson, Cathy continued to enjoy outings when, even in the time of pandemic, a dental appointment could become an adventure in a park or a trip to the dermatologist meant a Starbucks latte grande.

Cathy lived much longer than predicted when she was first diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2008.
