It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lydia Regina Nowak of Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Regina Kociuba and Valentine Kociuba; her siblings, Frank, Ted, Gene, Leslie and Ronald; her husband Richard Nowak; and her granddaughter Erica.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Bierman (Todd) and Ron Nowak (Julie); her grandchildren, Katelyn Bierman, Tara Toornman (Barry), Samantha Cowing (Robert), Madison Nowak (Kevin) and Sydney Nowak; and her great grandchild Eliana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Lydia to the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue Project.
