It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Luciano Hernandez Sr. (Kalamazoo, Michigan), born in Maxwell, Texas, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Luciano departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Luciano. Though Luciano may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elvira Reno; his daughter Mary; his son-in-law Juan Muniz; and his daughter Susan Welch. He is survived by: his sons, Luciano (Diana), Joseph (Beverly) of Claremore, OK and Jesse (Peggy Allison) of Kalamazoo; and his great great grandchild Steven Tinkey. He is also survived by 21 Grandchildren numerous Great Grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Eagles Club of Kalamazoo (1322 Branch St, Kalamazoo, MI 49001).
