She was predeceased by: her parents, Garrett DeVries and Catherine DeVries (Paauwe); her husband Evans Dermott; her children, Alex Castle and Anita Allen (Castle); her nephew Garrett Adkins; her sister Joyce E. Pecotte; and her brother-in-law Elmer Adkins.
She is survived by: her son Ernest Chenery (Theresa); her grandchildren, Ernest Chenery (Katherine Medford), Joseph Chenery (Samantha), Amanda Chenery (Daniel Abretske), Marvin Stevens Jr. (Lorie) and David Stevens; her great grandchildren, Orion, Olivia Chenery, Collin, Simon Chenery, Tabitha and Mackenzie Stephenson; her sister Margaret Adkins; her nephew Elmer Adkins Jr. (Deb); and her niece Kathy Drobny (Fred). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
