With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta J. Mayer of Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Freiling and Ruth Freiling (Ice); her brother Roy Freiling; her husband Charles H. Mayer; her daughter Sandy Maxwell; her son-in-law Joel Kendrick; and her grandson-in-law Patrick Peters.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Bob Maxwell; her daughters, Pat Martin (Mike), Liz Kendrick (Paul) and Chris Mata (Jaime); her grandchildren, Shannon, Heather, Christopher (Jodi), Rob (Katie), Kelly (Josh), Jenny (Dan) and Lauren (Jeff); and her great grandchildren, Andy, Christy, Kyan, Jacob, Keeley, Ella, Olivia, Max, Camden, MacKenzie and Emerson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services (622 S Burdick St, Kalamazoo, MI 49007). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
