He was predeceased by: his parents, Harm and Alice (Knapper); his wife Edna (Collins); his sons, Ken Bolhuis and Dennis Bolhuis; and his siblings, Bill and Grace.
He is survived by: his children, David Bolhuis (Patty) of Saint Simons Island, GA and Sandi VanderKlok (Dave) of Scotts, MI.; his grandchildren, Shelby Brennan (Marc), Michelle Loth (Gavin), Paul Bolhuis (Amber), Jessica Laverick (Gary), Jason VanderKlok (Melissa) and Dennis Bolhuis; his great grandchildren, Beckett, Braeden, Riley, Rory Brennan, Emmett Durfee and Isadora VanderKlok; and his nephew Garry Boelman.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Edna's favorite charity Generous Hands of Vicksburg, MI c/o the funeral home.
