Linda K. Hoeksema Obituary

Cremation will take place and private family remembrances will be held. Memorials may be made to the Westwood Chrisitan Reformed Church, c/o the funeral home.

Age 64, passed away at her home on Friday, March 22, 2023. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI, on January 12, 1960, the daughter of the late Gordon and Sandra (Jacobitz) Hoeksema. Linda had many God given gifts. She was an amazing artist who loved to paint, liked to draw and enjoyed crafts. She believed in the Lord and was a member of Westwood Christian Reformed Church. She loved music, played the trombone and participated in the church worship team and choir. Throughout the years Linda received compassionate care and loving support from her Westwood Church family. She also enjoyed the simple things in life; liked to spend time outdoors gardening and made fond memories at the family cottage at Lake Leelanau and in Florida. She worked for Mutual of Omaha insurance company for many years. Linda was loved by those who were closest to her and the good memories she made will be cherished. She is survived by her loving sister, Susan (Ken) Griffioen; nieces and nephews, Rebecca (David) Archer, John (Scott Hammer) Griffioen; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
