He was predeceased by: his brother Daniel T. Doherty. He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Doherty and Karen Doherty (Snell); and his sister Kathleen Laske (James) of Portage. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, an uncle and cousins; and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Catherine of Siena Parish, for use in fighting alcoholism through their Alcoholics Anonymous Group, c/o the funeral home.
