In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place and private interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery next to his wife, Sharron.

Age 83, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Ken was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on October 4, 1939, the son of the late Kenneth James and Edith (Cole) McCurdie. On May 4, 1961, he married the former Sharron Lou Trainer, who preceded him in death on November 8, 2018. Ken loved working on his antique cars and going to car shows. He also enjoyed riding his moped around town, often stopping to talk to his neighbors and friends. He was such an outgoing, friendly man, always ready for a long conversation about anything that popped up. Ken is survived by his children, Lorie (Michael) Griffin, Michael McCurdie, Todd (Renee) McCurdie; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
