He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle K. Wenger and Elsie Mae Gariepy (Selbee); his stepparents, Judith Wenger and Richard Gariepy; his brothers, Kerry and Kevin Wenger; and his nephew Anthony.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy Wright-Wenger (Pathic); his children, Stephen Wenger, John Wright, Jason Wright (Tina) and Suzanne Wright; his grandchildren, Destiny, Madalynn, Jordan, Abbey, Jared, Noah, Ethan, Wyatt, Jayden, Skyler, Jacob, Shyanne, Alexis and Ciara; and his siblings, Kris Wenger, Kyle Wenger (Heidi) and Lisa Pease (Greg). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
