She was predeceased by: her parents, George Robinson and Dorothy Robinson (Parshall); and her sister Marilyn Laballister. She is survived by: her husband Gary Thompson; her children, Andrew Thompson (Lori) and Valerie Thompson-Sims; her grandchildren, Anthony Sims and Anna Thompson; and her sister Louann Kirtley.
Donations in Karen's memory can be made to the Charles Bonnet Syndrome Foundation, or the Lewy Body Dementia Association which supports research into Karen's form of Capgras Syndrome.
