She was predeceased by: her mother Barbara J. Sluss (Pio); and her daughter Sherry Gilbert. She is survived by: her father Gene T. Sluss; her husband Timothy L. Gillespie, Sr.; her son Timothy Gillespie, Jr.; her granddaughter Ashley Ciscoe; and her siblings, Barbara Tyler (Dan), Gene Sluss (Amy) and Gale Lego (Mark). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
