June A. Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June A. Smith of Kalamazoo, Michigan, born in Berwyn, Illinois, who passed away on May 14, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward "Ted" A. Reed and Helen Kientop Reed; her husband Harry E. Smith; and her siblings, Alice Jean Reed, Shirley Mae Warms, Harrison "Butch" Reed and Richard Roland Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Lomen Beebe and John Jay Lomen; her stepdaughter Kathleen M. Hainer; and her grandchildren, S. Brooke Briggance, J. L. Mokma (Amy Cibula), Mark C. Spohn (Jenny), Patrick A. Spohn (Erin), Geoffery R. Spohn (M. T.) and Timothy J. Davidsmeyer (Jessica). She is also survived by eight great-grand children, and three great-great grandsons and her dear and devoted friends.
Memorial Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Wounded Warrior Project and/or The United Methodist Church of Allegan.
