She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Ritsema and Tena Ritsema; her sister Karen DeBruyn; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Musselman, William DeBruyn, Charles Slocum and Patricia Slocum.
She is survived by: her husband Boyd "Bud" Slocum; her daughters, Deborah Linn and Tina Cornwell; her grandchildren, Ryan Smith (Liana), Kristina Smith, Tyler Linn, Dustin Cornwell (Lauren) and Chelsea Rodriguez (Saxon); and her sister Evelyn Musselman. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joyce to Rose Arbor Hospice Home.
