She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Knauss and Lois Knauss (Schmidt); her husband Robert Kelley; her son Jim Kelley; and her brothers, Richard, Gerald and Dave.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Hale (Don) of Kalamazoo, Gerald Kelley (Tanya Betke) of Kalamazoo and Scott Kelley (Vikki) of Cheboygan; her daughter-in-law Teri Hybarger of Indiana; her grandchildren, Andrea Hale, Kelli Hale, Renee Hawkins, Katherine, Alexander, Amber, Cory, Cooper and Rudi Kelley; and her sister Sharon Rice. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
