She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leipzig and Helen Leipzig (Morrison); her husband Jack W. Nuyen, Sr.; her sons, James and Jack, Jr.; and her siblings, Arlyne Chappell, Marilyn Schrepper and John Leipzig.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Rainey (Dennis) and Kim Nuyen (Valerie); and her daughter-in-law Michelle Nuyen. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
