He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred R. Geren and Jacqueline Geren (Bright); and his brother David Symmons Geren. He is survived by: his brothers, Kenneth Geren of Mattawan and Michael Geren of Gobles; and his nephews, Ben and Shawn Geren.
