He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Buckley and Charlotte Buckley; his brother James Buckley; his siblings-in-law, Amy Buckley and Charles Jurkeiwicz; and his niece Celeste Hamm.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Buckley (Cal); his children, Anne Dueweke, John Buckley, Paul Buckley and Tim Buckley (Kelly LeRoux); his grandchildren, Sam Dueweke (Liz), Ben Dueweke, Zack Dueweke, Hannah Buckley, Aidan Buckley, Jake Buckley, Mariel Buckley and Joe Buckley; his great grandchildren, David Dueweke and Noah Dueweke; his siblings, Daniel Buckley, John Buckley (Christine), Charles Buckley (Linda), Mary Ann Jurkeiwicz and Margaret Barrett (John); and his siblings-in-law, Karen, Guy Maestas and Pat Thompson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Est Betzler Life Story Funeral Homes (6080 Stadium Dr, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Est St. Thomas More Student Parish (421 Monroe St, Kalamazoo, MI 49006). A reception was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at 832 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008.
