He is survived by: his parent Johnnie Sr. Johnnie of Washington; his stepfather Sever Stokes; his brothers, Bryant Ellis, Corey Ellis (Rachel), Sever Stokes, Jr., Sedric Stokes and Antione Stokes; his aunt Jeannette Holmes; his cousins, Jerome Anderson, Raydon Henry, Crystal Harris and Shanisha Henry; his children, Iyanna Carter, Devanta Carter, Johnnie III of Washington, Jayla of Washington, Jayquan of Washington, Jontae of Washington, Javion of Washington, Jayonte of Washington, Janiyah of Washington and Jeremiah of Washington; and his close friend Kendra Musser. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
