He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gerrit, Nellie Van Dyk, Lambert and Josie Dykstra; his father Marvin Van Dyk; and his nephew Milo Van Dyk.
He is survived by: his mother Jelene Van Dyk (Dykstra); his brothers, Tim Van Dyk (Renea) and David Van Dyk; and his nephews, Jonah Van Dyk and Michael "Nick" Bernick. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
