He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harm Holthouse and Jennie Holthouse (Meyer); his children, Mariann Lam (Jonathan), Robert Holthouse (Ruth Ann) and Jeanne Ehlers (Ronald); his grandchildren, Daniel Lam (Missy), Steven Lam (Angela), Christopher Lam (Lindsay), David Holthouse (Taryn), Michael Holthouse, Nathan Holthouse, Geoffrey Ehlers (Janis) and Erin Ehlers; and his nieces, Diann Fisher, Jan Voss (Bob) and Joyce Carpenter (Tim). He was also cherished by sixteen great-grandchildren.
