He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeGraaf and Margaret DeGraaf (Dineen). He is survived by: his wife Anna DeGraaf; his children, Kip DeGraaf, Stacey DeGraaf (Amy), Paula Anders and Kirk Mullendore (Carla); his grandchildren, Abby Hixson, Stephen DeGraaf, Clayton DeGraaf, Josh Anders (Carolyn), Justin Anders (Courtney Sheppard), Paul Douglas, Paige Douglas, Karlie Mullendore, Josey Mullendore, Tanner Mullendore, Richard Rieger and Jordan Smith; and his siblings, Jim DeGraaf (Joan), Cindy Kirby, Ron DeGraaf and Everett DeGraaf (Diana). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
