He is survived by: his children, Terri Ann Coleman (Johnny), Donyanatta Johnson, Terrance Hughes and Johnica McPherson; his sisters, Barbara Phillips (James), Diane Carver, Terry Buchanan (JL) and Jonni Cummins; his sister-in-law Patricia McPherson of Kalamazoo, MI.; his brother Randall McPherson (Sheryl) of Detroit, MI; his close friend Eugenia Atkins; his uncle Ben Witherspoon; his aunt Dasie Carter of Wichita, KS; and his friend Ruth Williams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Whitley Memorial Funeral Home (303 Balch St, Kalamazoo, MI 49001).
