He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Hartman and Elisabeth Hartman (Graf); his wife Deborah E. Batey; his sons, Mark and Neil Hartmann (Sarah); his grandchildren, Zoe, Nathan and Ben Hartmann; and his sister Diane Stanfield (John).
