She was predeceased by: her husband Robert. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Rebecca, Kathleen Merz, Stephen Matthew Merz, Matthew and Hailey Ann Curtis; her great grandchildren, Rowan and Arthur Curtis; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Evelyn Curtis), Anthony and Abigail Hoffa; and her close friends, Carl, Marilyn Rosema, Robert and Joanne. She is also survived by three children, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to The Luke Society – Gracias Honduras, in honor of Dr. Mark and Becky Veenstra and their work in Honduras.
