She was predeceased by: her parents, Danny Pozzuto and Josephine Pozzuto (Pezzino). She is survived by: her daughters, Tracy DeMars (John Geiser) and Bonnie Blackman (Robert); her grandchildren, Joanna Pozzuto, Paul Dickens (Melia), Elena Geiser and Timothy DeMars (Kara); her great grandchildren, Elianna, Bennett, Jensen, Calahan and Liliana Renee; and her sister Donna Roberts. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of JoAnn to the Animal Rescue Project in Kalamazoo.
