He was predeceased by: his former wife Joyce McGuire; his sons, Steve and Michael McGuire; and his sister Mary. He is survived by: his son James Albert McGuire (Kumi); his wife Carol Slaughter; and his children, Christie Fontaine (Curt), Douglas McGuire (Kasandra), Ken Slaughter (Melinda) and Tim Slaughter (Lori). He is also survived by His grandparents and parents.
