He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur B. Brown and Olive Irene Brown (Stanton); and his siblings, Virgil H. Brown, Dorothy Frances Brown, Ouidabon Harwood (Brown) and D. Wayne Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Pearl Lee Merchant; his children, Mark Brown (Bonnie) of Kalamazoo and Dawn Hoke (Gerald) of Mattawan; his grandchildren, Ryan Brown (Brittany), Brittney Dysard (Charlie), Hunter Brown, Mya Hoke and Lily Hoke; his great grandchildren, Marissa, Landyn, Xaine, Wriann and Holden Brown; and his grandchildren, Zaria, Ezekiayl, Zechariah and Keziah Dysard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
