She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Clemens and Hazel Clemens (Coulson); her brother Charles "Jack" Clemens; her close friend Elmer Homan; her daughter-in-law Beatrice Ellison; and her great grandchild Alexis Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Huey (David) of Midland, David Ellison of Galesburg, Thomas Ellison of Portage, Melinda Kemp of Ypsilanti and Kevin Jones (Margaret) of Rochester Hills; and her brother Jerry Clemens. She is also survived by many grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Langeland Family Funeral Home Burial and Cremation Services (3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mt Ever-Rest Memorial Park South (3941 S Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008).
