In accordance with her wish cremation will take place and private family services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice, c/o the funeral home.
Age 59, passed away at her home on June 4, 2023. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI on October 17, 1963, the daughter of the late Henry and Carol (Gleesing) Junker. Jayne loved her family and her friends. She was kind and gentle and will be missed by those who loved her. She had a tender spot in her heart for animals and was fond of her loyal companion dogs. Jayne was a hard worker who did her best to provide for those she loved. She was employed at Kalamazoo Head Start where she served as a school bus driver and teachers' aide. She then worked for Western Diversified Plastics and finally Eimo Technologies. When not working Jayne enjoyed spending time outdoors and being at her home. She was a loving grandmother who was especially proud of her grandson. Jayne is survived by three children, Samuel Stannard, Sydnee (Christopher) Kabanuk and Seth Stannard; grandson, Peter; two siblings, Jeffery (Deborah) Junker and Jay (Carol) Junker; extended family and friends. She was also preceded in passing by a son, Robert Stannard IV.
