With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Kay Hamming of Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on December 4, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Lawrence Hamming; her grandson Jonathan Lane Hamming; and her siblings, William, Eugene, Marvin, Shirley and Alice.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Persons; her children, Jon, Jennifer Hamming, Mary, Dan Anson, Jim and Kim Hamming; her stepchildren, Alisha Turner, Teressa and Paul Shaffsma; her grandchildren, Chris, Erin Hamming, Kari, Derek Koster, Katelyn, Ben Schilz and Cassie Hamming; her sister Kathy (Matt Vokes); and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn (Bob TenHarkel) and Gary (Karen Hamming). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren, 12 step-great-grandchildren.
