Janet M. Hands Obituary

Age 90, passed away Wednesday morning, August 30, 2023. Janet was born in Coverdale, PA, on August 15, 1933, the daughter of Joseph and Ellamae (Boyd) Frederick. On May 19, 1951, she married Donald Lee Hands who preceded her in death on September 13, 2022. Janet was an avid china painter. She also enjoyed travelling. Janet was a fine baker and enjoyed cake decorating. Her main interests revolved around her family. She loved spending time with them. Janet is survived by her children, Sharon (Ronald) Penny of Three Rivers, Marcie (Seth) Virgo of Kalamazoo, Darryl Hands of Grand Rapids, six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many friends. Besides her husband Janet was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Donald Hands Jr.
