With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet L. Courtade (Kalamazoo, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on June 18, 2021 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas N. Courtade and Mona L. Courtade (Braspenninx). She is survived by: her husband Rick Rice; her children, Jake Pursley (Jaime) of Paw Paw, Nate Pursley (Wendy) of Lawton and Bonnie Fleckenstein (Ben); her grandchildren, Luke Pursley, Lauren Pursley, Rachel Pursley, Claire Pursley, Travis Pursley, Audrey Fleckenstein and James Fleckenstein; and her siblings, Kay Schwartz (Linus), Tom Courtade (Joyce), Ruth Courtade, Andy Courtade (MaryBeth) and Lisa Courtade. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and countless friends.
