It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Stewart of Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Stewart to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father James O. Stewart. He is survived by: his mother Dena M. Stewart (Ellis); his mothers-in-law, Marian Mullin and Elizabeth Mullin; his siblings, Carol Segerdahl (Neil) and Gregory Stewart; his nieces, Sarah Espinosa (David), Brooke Hines (David) and Mary Segerdahl; and also, Christine Mullin, Edward Mullin (Beverly), James Mullin, Paul Mullin and Steven Mullin (Emily). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to SPCA of Southwest Michigan or West Michigan Cancer Center.

“So sorry to hear about your loss, I had the distinct pleasure of working directly with Jim as an Electrician for Local 131 as a young, inexperienced Apprentice. Jim always took the time to help me learn and to teach me the craft that he so excelled at. I can honestly state that you could hand Jim a garbage can full of parts and pieces and he could figure out how to put anything together and make it work the way it is supposed to work, he was a true MECHANIC and a very gifted Electrician.
