It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James S. Deckard of Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, James C. Deckard of Portage, MI and Amanda Deckard of Avondale, AZ; his grandson Presley Durrett of Avondale, AZ; and his sisters, Victoria of St. Joseph and Claudia Deckard of St. Joseph. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters-Sylvia Rae Quinn and Patricia Ann Sluder-Hile Memorial Contributions.
