He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Debbie. He is survived by: his wife Gayle; his children, Peter, John (Elena Bravo), Maria (Troy Tooker) and Rena (Gregg Baxter); his grandchildren, Christen, Jessica, Brittany (Cody Watkins), Jon (Maria Dangremond), James (Michelle Briand), Katrina (Drew Kapture), Destiny (Bryan Tyler), Nikki and Mack; and his great grandchildren, Winter, Emmett, Anneke, Marieke, Ellieke and Owen.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Community Presbyterian Church (811 Gorham Ln, Kalamazoo, MI 49006).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests instead that this spring or summer that our friends plant a tree of their choice in their own backyard, church, school or wherever they choose in remembrance of our dad.
