He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Rose II and Doris Ruth Kilgore (Kilgore). He is survived by: his children, James H. Rose IV (Nicole) and Christine Taylor (Mark); his grandchildren, Chloe Sue Rose, James H. Rose V, Brook VanBruggen and Andrew VanBruggen; his sisters, Joellyn Ellis (Jack), Doris Walker (Loyd) and Cheri Rose-Jones; his former wife Deb Nevins; his nephews, Michael Schewe, Matthew Walker, James Ellis, Jonathon Ellis and Jeremy Ellis; and his niece Kristine Kufeldt.

Contributions in Jim's memory may be made to the Kalamazoo Animal Rescue or Mattawan Area Food Pantry.
