It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James D. Newton (Kalamazoo, Michigan), born in Decatur, Alabama, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oliver and Harriet Delilah Newton (Williams); and his wife Judy Volenski. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Newton, Laura Gill (Gary), James L. Newton, Kim Holt (John) and Jeff Newton (Kristie); and his sister Betty Johnston. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
