With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Brown of Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on December 15, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Hall Brown and William Brown; and his siblings, Herbert, Odessa, Barbra, Henry, Annie Mae, Dewitt and Bernice (Doll).
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Brown (Jean); his children, Byron Brown of Texas, Adrian Sandidge (Travis) of Rockwall, Latonia Boateng, Arlington of Yolonda, MBA and Tehrifah Brown of Alsip; and his stepchildren, Eursla Moore-Doyle and Cameron (Bettie) of Kalamazoo, Michigan.. He is also survived by Eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
The family is requesting those in attendance to please wear a mask.
