He was predeceased by: his sisters, Virginia Mae DeYoung and Norma VerWest; his brother-in-law Don; and his former wife Marge Galvin. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Wilbur (Rossman); his children, Steve DeYoung (Jo) of Algonguin, IL, Karen DeYoung of Binghamton, NY, Patti Compton (Scott) of Traverse City, MI and Ross Wilbur (Cindy) of Fort Collins, CO; his granddaughters, Ava and Nora; his niece Ginny Weaver (Kirk); his grandchildren, Kevin, Melony, Tyler, Haley and Lexi; and also Bruce Verwest (Nancy). He is also survived by neighbors and friends.
Contributions in Jack's memory can be made to either Centrica Care Navigators (formerly Southwest Michigan Hospice) or Hope Church where the donations will be directed to the new playground for the neighborhood children.
