With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Hernani T. Almeda (Kalamazoo, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Hernani left this world on June 6, 2024 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Luciano Almeda and Castora Almeda; and his siblings, Eliezer and Cynthia. He is survived by: his wife Milagros Diaz Almeda (Mila); his children, Heramil Almeda (Cheryl) and Laurie Ann Almeda-Gibson; and his grandchildren, Jacob (Addison), Luciano, Jireh, Abigail, Casiana and Lillian. He is also survived by his kids and grandkids.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be shared in Hernani's honor with Westwood Methodist Church and Rose Arbor Hospice.
