It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey B. Gardner (Kalamazoo, Michigan), who passed away on December 17, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Zorado Fitzpatrick; his brothers, Larry Gardner (L. C.) and Sam Fitzpatrick; and his grandchildren, Derek Wheeler and Tyesha Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Donald Gardner of Grand Rapids, MI, Debra Johnson, Curtis Gardner (Elaine) and Sheila Gilland (David); his grandson Ajamian Gardner of Kalamazoo, MI; his siblings, George Fitzpatrick (Betty) and Kay Reason; and his siblings-in-law, Leora Jackson of Pomona, CA, Rebecca Taylor of Chattanooga, TN, Evelyn Smith of Nashville, TN, Jacquelyn Marshall of Jackson, TN and Larry Marshall of Jackson, TN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
