He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Norrod. He is survived by: his children, Becky Bommersbach, Lisa Taylor, Jason Norrod, Jessica and Jamie Slaughter; his siblings, Richard Battles, Linda Fish, Judy Boyd, Debbie Hester and Lori Henrich; and his girlfriend Debra Broughman. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
