With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria A. Slayton (Kalamazoo, Michigan), born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on March 6, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert F. Slayton; her parents, Morris Nelson and Ethelyn Nelson (Bradley); her son-in-law Doug Deaner; and her sister Barbara Crail.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Deaner, Lisa Melville and Troy Slayton (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Justin, Jordan and Ainsley; her great grandchildren, Everett and Eleanor; her sister-in-law Catherine Sonneville (Gary); and her nieces, Shannon and Crystal.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
